May 13, 2012 - I do not *feel* safe in India. Not with the blasphemy laws and with possible extremists in my locality. There are many countries where atheists can really feel safe in the true sense of the word. I would love seeing India up there with these countries but sadly it is not there yet.

Separation between religion and public policies is necessary.Please provide evidence for them in court and get the "aryan theory" out of the syllabus if you feel that it is a hoax.I do not believe that we have a very good education system, I am not sure if I like the gurukul system either. I'm following Sir Ken Robinson's and Salman Khan's (not the actor) works. May be we should work on implementing Khan Academy in India?

Secularism is an educated viewpoint.I do not want to see it become like Iran or other countries that to not value human rights. Secularism is the only way I can see to preserve the rights, values, of different groups, while making sure that no one group is favoured over the other.
