Mar 16, 2012 - And this is why I love Youtube. Case in point -- Dr. Hollander's splendid talk on Dante was totally entertaining, totally educative, totally deserving of applause. Loved it. I love Youtube but I have noticed of late that the cockroach corporate advertisers have infiltrated the Youtube channels in lots of videos and are pushing their wares. Fortunately, a commercial has not corrupted this video (and Dante) yet.Thank you for this post.

Mar 17, 2012 - I am inferring from Dr. Hollander's statement that he is a fan of Thomas Aquinas and therefore believes in Catholicism? If so, I am thinking that it is intellectually inconsistent to accept the paganism and irrationality of Thomas Aquinas and be a serious scholar of logic and truth and science. Catholicism (like all religions) is so full of nonsense and fascism and sheer harm to free thinking that the good Dr. Hollander will lose points with me if he actually buys into Dante's story
